Overview
Gain the foundation necessary to effectively centralize and manage desktops in the data center and deliver them as a service to users anywhere. You will learn how to select a desktop delivery model for each user group based on their needs, build proof-of-concept and production XenDesktop environments, assign virtual desktops to users, and customize the user experience through policies. You will also learn how to build a Provisioning services farm to enable single-image desktop management and how to host virtual machines on the client device using Citrix XenClient
Pre-Requisites
- Basic knowledge of the purpose and goals of virtualization technology
- Understanding of computing architecture, including network and storage devices, device drivers, and operating systems
- Basic experience installing and administering Windows Server 2008 R2
- Basic understanding of server, desktop, and application virtualization concepts
