Overview 

The Routing and Switching Solutions for System Engineers (RSSSE) course is focused on design-oriented knowledge that help in selecting optimal network solutions that meet the customer routing and switching requirements. The course starts with an overview of the Cisco Service-Oriented Network Architecture (SONA) and network baseline principles. Cisco advanced technologies and services are described and Cisco products that implement these advanced services are explained in details. The course concludes with the design case study that enables you to build a solution that meets customer requirements, following the design guidelines.


Pre-Requisites

To gain the prerequisite skills and knowledge, Cisco strongly recommends knowledge of the following courses:

  • Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE)
  • Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks (SWITCH)
  • Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN)
